High School Criteria

Dear Student,

The mission of The Kevin E. Reichardt Foundation has been to keep Kevin's spirit alive. Kevin exemplified excellence in the classroom while also surpassing expectations on the playing field and leading others with focused initiative. As a part of this mission, we are proud to announce that two (2) five hundred dollar scholarships will be awarded this year. The scholarships will go to one female and one male entering their junior or senior year at St. Mary's High School. It will be a one time award, payable to St. Mary's High School.

The criteria is as follows: A minimum GPA of 3.3 with honors and advance placement courses given additional consideration. The candidate must play at least two sports and display outstanding leadership qualities and character. It is the intent of the award to be supplemental to any other scholarships or grants already available to the student. It is not intended to replace existing scholarships. The scholarship is not need based. The scholarship committee will interview all finalists before making a final selection. The application must be postmarked by April 1 and the recipients will be announced at the Spring Activity Banquet.
